They are situated right next to Chateau St. Jean, a wonderful wedding venue, in Sonoma, CA. The smell was amazing! On the first day, I was there when it was raining/overcast. Recently had the opportunity to work with Sonoma lavender farm, http://www.sonomalavender.com/. They are situated right next to Chateau St. Jean, a wonderful wedding venue, in Sonoma, CA. The smell was amazing!
On the first day, I was there when it was raining/overcast. On the second day, it was nice and hot n sunny- which mean the honey bees were out in full force. I had totally forgotten about them on the previous rainy day. The lavender bushes were covered in hundreds of bees, but they paid little attention to me as I they were busy with the lavender. I managed to only get stung once the entire day, which was quite a feat considering how much time I spent with them, invading their space.
This is the very same lavender that I will be sending to friends and family! I hope you enjoy your bouquet.
